Finally an update

I”m seriously not great at the weblog thing.  Anyway here are a few things we did in 2007.  Maybe it can be like those cute Christmas cards that everyone sends out. I don’t do  those either.  Maybe I can do better this year.

Sports

Finally a new post.  What you all have been waiting for.  Here are some pictures of Leif playing soccer and T-ball.  Erik coached both teams at the same time.  He is forbidden to ever do that again.

Kindergarten Graduation

Leif graduated from St. Marguarites Kindergarten.  This is a most serious event.  I’m sure most of you will be wondering what his plans will be after this.  He hasn’t let us know yet.

Did God mess up?

anderschair.jpg

Leif shared some valid concerns with me yesterday about Anders.

“Mom Anders is weird.”

Yes he is.

God made him that way didn’t he.

Yes.

Maybe God messed up mom.

Now that’s real brotherly love.

Poor Leif

I went to say goodnight to Leif and he was wearing a football helmet.  He said he had to wear it for protection so he wouldn’t get hit by his “brother’s baba”.  Even from the confines of his crib he can be a terror.  Apparently on Mother’s Day he told my grandmother: ” Be careful around Anders, he’s mean.”

Ander’s really is prone to hit you or throw things at you at anytime.  His cute two year old looks are deceiving

A Man in a Dress?

Leif and I had an interesting conversation on the way home from school.  It went something like this.

“Leif how was school?”

“Good.  A man in a dress asked me “Who loves you?”

My mind was racing.  Was there a deranged cross dresser approaching children on the playground?  I thought Leif was safe in this school.

” So who did this man say loves you?”

“Jesus loves me mom.”

It all became clear.  Leif attends a Catholic school and the children had attended mass that day.  I guess the priest decided to talk to the children after mass.  Maybe the staff of his school should explain who this “man in a dress” is.

The Next John Mayer

When Leif started going to his singing class he said he wanted to sing like John Mayer…

I’ve heard that the average blog gets read by one person. I’m going to guess that my reader is going to be anyone interesting in the antics of my 5 and 2 year old sons. I think my reader is going to be their dad.
